At the beginning of May, Trinity Park, home of the Suffolk Show, hosted the biggest and best business show in East Anglia and VIP Balloons were there – not just exhibiting for ourselves, but also assisting several other local companies with their stands and providing the official show décor.
ISSBA chairman James Davey said the exhibition represented the culmination of 12 months’ hard work by many people and he thanked all those involved, a view echoed by Sarah Howard, president of Suffolk Chamber.
The exhibition was officially opened by Harry Drnec, a former chief executive of Red Bull UK under whose leadership its drink sales grew from 3million to 300m cans a year.
Mr Drnec said that, having lived in Suffolk for 11 years, he was delighted to see the local business community coming together to stage such an event.
VIP Balloon Artist, Samuel Stamp-Dod, built an impressive wall of balloons in ISSBA colours as well as creating a pair of columns and arch for the grand opening.
Throughout the day long event, several other stall holders, committee members and visitors to the exhibition came over and said how impressed they were with the show’s improved balloons this year.
Next week we will take a look at some of the stalls that VIP Balloons helped to decorate.
