Fulham Way Fun Day
We are delighted to say that we have two winners for the Fullham Way Fun Day balloon race. Only one balloon was returned, and this was found in The Netherlands by Annelie Seegees!
This ticket was purchased at the Fun Day by Sarah Asque, so both people, the finder and the purchaser, win themselves £25 cash!
The balloons were released on Sunday 28th August 2016 as the lovely people of Fulham Way in Ipswich had their fun day fundraising for Ipswich Hospital.
Haverhill Summer Bash 17th July 2016
The Haverhill Summer Bash is always a great day out and this year we were there making balloons models and running the balloons race
We went for red, white and blue balloons and right now they are flying over the skies of Suffolk and beyond. The winning tickets from this race were numbers 0650 and 0591. Zoe Weir and Kay Sharkes, both from Haverhill win themselves a bike, while Adbul Micallef and Lily Sase win themselves £25 each. The balloons were both found in Essex, one in West Mersea and the other in Tollesbury – congratulations to you all!
AXA Insurance Raise Funds for Alzheimer’s Charity
AXA staff held a charity balloon race from the roof of the building on Monday 28th September in order to raise as much money as they could for their chosen charity, the Alzheimer’s Society.
Over a hundred purple balloons made their way (almost) across ITFC’s ground at Portman Road before floating up to the heavens.
The winning ticket was found in Royal Tonbridge Wells in Kent by John Chart and the ticket was purchased by Ellen Wright on Floor Six of AXA.
Suffolk Dyslexia Association Fun Day at St Raphael Centre in Ipswich on 12th September 2015
We now have our winners! We had several balloon tickets returned to us from the north of Suffolk and into Norfolk but the furthest travelled to Caister-On-Sea and was found by Amy Spendling. The ticket was number 0287 which was purchased by Rose Linnett.
Amy wins herself £25 cash for finding the tickets and Rose wins the amazing hamper shown on the day.

On Saturday 12th September 2015 we helped the fund raisers at Suffolk Dyslexia Association with their fun day by holding a grand balloon race.We released 201 multicoloured balloons at the end of a very successful fun day into the skies of Ipswich.
St Elizabeth Hospice Fun Day at Borne Vale Social Club, Ipswich – 6th June 2015
On Saturday 6th June 2015 we helped the fund raisers at St Elizabeth Hospice with their fun day by holding a grand balloon race.
We had a number of balloon race tickets returned but the one that travelled the furthest was purchased by Sarah Orme and found by John Edwards in Arncliffe, near Skipton in North Yorkshire. According to Google Maps, the balloon traveled over 240 miles! Congratulations to both winners, who get themselves a cash prize.
Saxmundham Primary School Race for Somersham Ward, Ipswich Hospital – 7th March 2015
On Saturday 7th March 2015 we held a small race where those taking part released their own balloons throughout the Easter Bonanza. Unfortunately none of the balloon tickets were returned to us, so we put all the names of those who purchased a balloon into the hat and drew a winner.
Congratulations to John Franks who came out as the winner – £25 cash is now yours!
Orwell Network’s Race for St Elizabeth Hospice – 21st January 2015
Over 250 balloons were released on 21st January 2015 at Seckford Golf Club in Woodbridge to raise funds to Ipswich’s hospice, St Elizabeth. The hospice was chosen as Orwell Network’s charity of the year for 2014 and this race was the pinnacle of their fund raising events.

We had race tickets returned from Eye in Suffolk, Shotesham-All-Saints and Diss in Norwich, however the balloon that travelled the furthest was found slightly further north in Thurnham, Norwich by Alison Gummers. Alison wins herself £25 cash for finding the ticket and Jayne Barclay of Ipswich wins the £50 cash prize for purchasing the winning balloon.
Thank you to all those who supported the balloon race, we raised over £250 for St Elizabeth Hospice.
Hillside School New Building Celebrations – 20th September 2014
To celebrate the opening of the new nursery building at Hillside School in Ipswich, the school decided to hold a celebration fete. Desipte the poor weather, lots of families attended and join in by releasing balloons to see who could win a £50 Theatre Voucher. The balloons made their way over the Suffolk skyline, but unfortunately, as only 34 balloons were released, there were no race tickets returned. Whenever this happens, we pick a winner at random from all the entries and this time the winner was Jane Herbling.
Ipswich School 125 Years Celebrations – 28th June 2014
The winning balloon traveled approximately 160 miles from Ipswich School to Tull Somme in France. It was found by Antoine Lefebvre and the balloon was purchased by Jane Hodgkinson.
LV= Charity Race for St Elizabeth’s Hospice – 16th November 2013
VIP Balloons helped the staff from LV= to raise funds for St Elizabeth’s Hospice in Ipswich by releasing balloons from Christchurch Park on 16th November 2013. Although lots of balloons were found on the east coast of England, one lucky ticket made it all the way to The Netherlands.
Katy Day of Ipswich bought the balloon with ticket number 30899 which was found by Stijn Piest the town of Rijswijk near The Haugue. By our calculations, the balloon traveled approximately 175 miles.
Congratulations to both our winners and of course to the main winner in this balloon race, St Elizabeth’s Hospice.
Rosary Conservative Club Fun Day – 24th August 2013
However the one which traveled the furthest was found in Kingsmead Playing Field near Canterbury by Sid Jameson. The winning ticket was number 10008 and was purchased by Casey Norris.
Congratulations to both Sid who has won £25 cash and Casey who has won a bottle of whisky and a giant teddy!
